CROSS COUNTRY TRIP 2010 - Day 1

Got on the road at 7 am, and not a moment too soon.  We have been so busy lately, and couldn't wait to take this trip.  Tony accomplished his goals this morning - he photographed the State Welcome signs,

he fetched me some fruit, my drink, etc - it's like having my very own Coach Butler!  But, after so much exertion, he needed a  nap.

We disconnected the Jeep, went out to Tony's favorite restaurant on the road, Golden Corral, and then a quick trip to Walmart.  As we drive up to the motorhome, Tony realizes he does not have his cellphone (horrors!!) and he has me calling the phone while he searches the motorhome for his "beloved".  Lo and behold, while I am calling the phone, someone picks up and says: "Hello" - After a brief discussion, we discover the phone is in Walmart, so back we go to retrieve his appendage.

Our dining room chair leg was loose, so TZ was "on it".

With multiple angle irons holding the legs in place, and after much conversation with self, he declares it repaired.  Think I'll sit on the other chair from now on.
